Spitfire Grill is a touching play that required us to build a home of the grill. The set dressing was aimed to be homey and non specific period inspired by the 70s. It was designed to be a capsule of rural living stopped when Hannah’s husband died and her son disappeared. Hundreds of envelopes labeled and stamped to flutter in the air. Menus, bus tickets, and pamphlets for Gilead were designed digitally.
